Diomedes accumulated more than 20 years of experience in technical and leadership roles such as CTO @ Microsoft Services APAC, Head of IoT @ Singtel or Head of Innovation @ Ericsson. He has extensive knowledge of IoT & networking, has several patents and is a Board Member for several highly innovative startups. He has been on both sides of the table. As a startup, getting deals & an exit to a Fortune 500 company, and as a corporate, fostering innovation & interfacing with startups.

About the Speaker

Diomedes Kastanis

Diomedes is the CTO Chief technology officer of Microsoft Services APAC. In this role, Diomedes is responsible of helping customers leverage the amazing technology innovations to thrive in the digital area. Prior to that, Diomedes was the Head of Internet of Things (IoT) and 5G enterprise product at the Singtel Group. A great highlight was heading the Ericsson Silicon Valley office, leading Ericsson’s long-term technology vision and innovation with focus on 5G, artificial intelligence, next-generation content delivery and heterogenous DevOps. His commitment to positive disruption is expressed through ongoing collaborations with universities, industry thought leaders, and technology incubators. Diomedes holds an MSc. in Computer Science and a diploma in Mathematics with specialization in AI, as well as in cost effective cryptology techniques and holds a few patents. He also holds board member positions in new innovative companies around the world.
